Chefs entering to compete in The World Pastry Cup require an immense amount of skill, diligence, and concentration. With unbridled talents, only the world’s most gifted culinary artists are selected to compete in the event that takes place every other year in Lyon, France.
This documentary goes behind the scenes and follows an American, Canadian and Dutch team as they compete in a gruelling 11-hour marathon against 45 other top-notch international teams. The stakes are high and following months and years of preparation, each team is committed to a win. But only one team will take home the gold.
